Rock Climbing - Intermediate

Once you’ve found your feet you’ll just want to climb more and more! This course is designed to enable clients to develop a love of rock climbing developing their skills and techniques through a range of rock climbs and rock climbing areas throughout the UK. This is an outdoor course, utilising real rock and is thus open to vagaries of the British weather!

Course includes:

Personalised coaching to develop each client’s ability to safely and competently second rock climbs single pitch and multi-pitch.

• Climbing Equipment – safe and efficient use of a range of climbing equipment
• Rope Techniques – enabling safe, efficient rope management and security
• Belaying – to support leader and second climber to arrest falls and lower safely.
• Abseiling – abseiling safely using the belay plate and suitable auto block techniques.

The basic Rock Climbing course is UK based and can be varied in location to suit clients and prevailing weather conditions. Costs include bed, breakfast and evening meal, use of specialist equipment and instruction.
