HIGH ALTITUDE TREKKING – ARGENTINA

You will be guided by one of the most experienced guides with an extremely high success rate of assisting clients to the summit of high altitude mountains. Aconcagua is too often under-estimated by climbers and as a result there is a less than 50% success rate by most parties. Venture Force's unique approach, optimizes your acclimatization and focuses on you being as well prepared and in as good health as is possible. This requires careful management, excellent food and hygiene as well as good training and preparation, all of which are part of our leadership and base camp service package.

Provided you have worked on your fitness before arrival and are prepared for a real challenge, we will, weather permitting, do the rest in getting you to the summit. Our itinerary allows some days for bad weather so in most cases we can wait out the occasional mountain storm and obtain that all important ‘weather window’.

On arrival in Argentina you will be met by our European guide who is very experienced in Argentina and other Andean climbing destinations. You will be provided with an excellent accommodation package in addition to full services on the mountain. You will be part of a climbing team and as such will be expected to contribute to the establishment of mountain camps. There is an option for you to hire porters, at your own expense, but most people find the itinerary perfectly achievable and enjoyable without the need for porters. Group kit such as tents and cookers will be transported on the mountain, you need only carry personal clothing, climbing and sleeping kit.

Aconcagua is only 40 metres short of 7000 metres and though non-technical, is a serious mountain challenge. Venture Force uniquely aims to provide you with an expedition that maximises your chances of summit success whilst ensuring that you are as well prepared and acclimatized as possible. In addition, we aim to ensure that there is a real sense of team camaraderie and fun making the whole mountain experience so much more enjoyable.

Prices: Venture Force ensures that each and every expedition, project or skills training programme in our portfolio is designed round the needs of the client, or clients. Prices are therefore impossible to quote in advance, to obtain a quote call or email us direct.
